Yes you're right, we imagined the rest. The 96 CCF, the 3 tries in the final 2 minutes against Warrington etc etc all never happened.

Do you recall Sinfield's last minute conversion in the cup semi final, or my personal favourite, when Saints were 0 - 20 up at Headingley with less than 15 minutes to go, and got whupped 30 -20 ?

One of my favourite games, the reversal against Stains!!! The ironic cheering when they announced that season tickets were available, the streaker... Good times.

I remember the 0-20 one. I actually wanted Leeds to win that day as I recall them having the chance to finish above Wigan in the standings and it was clear with the light pack that we had, we woulkd struggle.

I also remember the limited Anthony Stewart scoring the try of his life to win Saints the match in the last minute against Leeds at Knowlsey Road. These things dont happen under the Burton's dummy that is Mick Potter.

It makes me laugh when people go on about Hedmmings being a Saints fan and tripe like that. He was always the same when Wigan were in their pomp and will stick up for the dominant Lancashire team at the time to pi$$ Stevo off.
