Channing is a bit too temperamental for my liking. He's targeted b/c of his defence.

Salford are definitely the better team. We will be lucky to go in at half time only 4 behind.

Sounded like we were slowly getting back into the game and possibly could have scored to tie things up.

Awful display from Cas today so far. Be good to know if Salford have played us out of it or if we have just been poor.

went to the game as a neutral .Ref didn't help Cas( be interested to see what the penalty count was) but Cas made too many errors. If they had started like they finished it would have been a different result. Having been to Saints v Salford when Chase wasn't playing, you can see how much they rely on him.

Not too disheartened by this result! It always had the potential to be a bit of a banana skin match - we've got a quick turnaround for London but unless we lose to them I don't think we've got too much to worry about. If we win that game it makes it 6 from 7 - I would have snatched someones hand off if they had offered me that... I'd even take 5 from 7.

Seeing as that's his first game for us (Barring twelve minutes against Wakey) it's a bit of a stretch saying we rely on him. Granted, as any Cas fan would say, the team plays better with him in it, and for what it's worth we are still binding as a team. Second half of the season will be a better indicator for Salford. I can't argue with your assessment however. Cas produced way more errors and the ref was very picky for both sides.

What was the penalty count? What was he doing at the scrums he was rubbish for both sides, I think your constant ripping out was the reason for most of your pens against you.

I know you only post on other forums now, but surely your aware he's a Salford fan, right?
Thought cas looked good in patches, and that support was immense. We do look a different team with chase, much better. Thought it was a good close game. Hope you do well rest if the season and we can return the compliment and bring a few to your gaff
