I hope we get a decent replacement and not somebody on loan as had been rumoured. A proven half with a good track record and kicking game would be the ideal considering the threat of relegation next year. We can't afford to get someone either on the cheap or after some more pension fund

I think that Cas have handled this pretty well in all fairness. For the fans, Chase and indeed for Salford. It would be very easy for Cas to announce who has signed Chase today rather than letting Salford do it with great fanfare tomorrow. But then that's why we are Classy Cas and Salford are the Red Devils

The only problem with that is it is part of the deal that Salford would not announce until after your last home game that's why the announcement was put back from 9/8 and if you announced before it would reduce the feel

Yes - very poor but an expected stunt by the electrician. I remember Salford (has they were once known) getting all up-tight about Luke Robinson posing in a Hudds shirt before he could play for them.

I thought the comments today by the electrician directed at Richard Agar were very aggressive. Something you would do privatly and not in a press conference. They are gradually making a ton of enemies in what is a relatively small pond to splash about in.

The only thing that worries me about all this is that I hope and pray Salford fans don't go the same way Wire fans did when they got good. I've always had a lot of time for Salford - great bunch of fans. It'd be such a shame to see them disappear up their own ****holes and start looking down on other teams' fans.

That's the thing that's got me, Rangi was always going to go to someone paying more money he's too good not to and he's looking after his family which is fair enough but to put another clubs colours on while still being payed by us is a kick in the nuts and about as disrespectful as can be to a club that backed him when not many would. However, it's no suprise to be honest....he turned his back on his country so he was always going to turn his back on us... That's life.

In all fairness, the Warrington fans who were there when they were sh*t (excuse my French) are probably the same level headed grounded fans they were during he Wilderspool days. It's the new fans they've attracted since becoming successful that probably aren't aware of their previous fortunes who act in such an arrogant way.

I hope Salford fans don't get too big-headed, either. But we haven't had much to shout about in the last 35 years so we will try and enjoy our day in the sun. Perhaps some of us would come across as less aggressive if we didn't have opposition fans making such derogatory comments about the gentleman who has come from nowhere to save us from certain oblivion and provided us with some genuine hope of progression.
