i was not impressed with the new ground at all even the away fans cant even see the screen i wonder what the rfl will think now

Salford will be on sky probably 3 or 4 times at home. Waint make much of a problem really.

Cant see why it couldnt have been put on an angle, there was plenty of room.
Seemed strange not one away fan will be able to see any replays.
I was watching the fans who went down to the front, there reaction told me everything.

As for the terrance for the away fans, its very shallow and there didnt seem much room.

You don't sell season tickets to away fans though, nor do you expect away fans to make up the majority of the crowd (unless, ironically, you're Salford). Most clubs will cater for the needs of home supporters before considering the away fans.

Headingley's similar. Everything covered except the Western terrace, and the brilliant new screen angled to suit everyone in the ground except the Western terrace. Everyone gets a pretty good view of it therefore, except the away fans gathered on the Western terrace.

It's fantastic. Replays tries even when not on Sky, and used extensively in the build-up to the game. Definitely enhances 'match-day experience'

I've been told the screen will go in the corner in between where that Salford fans will stand behind the sticks and the small stand along the length of the ground, just so all the corporates can see it!!

Horrible game, rubbish atmosphere - took ages to get into the ground and ages to get out

Considering the conditions gruffy i thought the players did well.
Off course the game wasn't the best.

As for the atmosphere, i thought the salford fans were very quiet, not sure where you was sat but the cas fans where quite vocal most of the game.

I agree with your last part, took us a while to get into the car park (coach), getting out was horrendous, took us 3 and a half hour to get back to cas.

I think the Cas players did there best trying to impress the coach! I agree the conditions didn't help but I don't accept the conditions as a reason for Salford as team to not run hard or back up.

I was sat in the main stand and it was dead, it wasn't helped that I was just infront of the corporate prawn sandwich brigade who didn't make a noise. Salford fans were quiet, not of many of them really!
