We are wanting to make the Catalans trip this year, has anybody any advice, or used Catalans Tours?

Yeh. I been 3 years now. Catalan sport tours are great. No trouble at all. You are best booking airport and match transfers with them.

I have stopped in Perpignan each time and it's great but I know many Cas fans are stopping in Lloret de mar this year. Much cheaper than Perpignan.

Trust me, it's great and you want to give it a go you will enjoy it.

I've been to every game since the 2006 one: good weekend away – and this year in June!

I stop in Perpignan (booking own hotel and flights or train), but as cas all the way says, a lot of Cas fans stop in Lloret de Mar (since the 2006 game which was originally supposed to have been in Girona).

CST are good (for transers etc, run coaches from Lloret to the ground and a bus from the centre of Perpginan to the stadium) – and of course help keep this site running by advertising etc

There's a good range, and plenty in the centre of town around [i[ le castellet[/i. I usually stop at the Mercure - but it's not that cheap (usually used by visiting teams, though not always Cas - mind I did get woken up one year by some drunk knocking on a door down the corridor, shouting "Richie, Richie, Richie …" to be answered with "F**k off!"

Depends what youi're looking for - there's plenty in all price ranges.

Yeh book own flights and hotel. Catalan sport tours will pick you up and drop you off. Get yourself on booking.com there are plenty of hotels in Perpignan centre.

Not sure on hotel names but they will all be half decent. June/July will be great. Hot weather beers and a great game. Hope to see as many Cas fans as possible.

We are doing a road trip this year. Setting off Thursday with the aim to get to Perpignan Friday night. Stopping till Sunday morning then driving home. Never done this but think it will be fun with 4 of us. Stopping in Paris on the 2 travelling nights.

Hired a car for the week so will be travelling up to Perpignan on Saturday 25th staying overnight at the Comfort Airport Hotel........is there a
particular bar/hostelry/bistro where Cas/ league fans meet?

Bar La Source is popular too, has fan pages on facebook, does decent food, always shows the rugby, and usually tapes the Catalans game to put on when people return there after the match.

The landlord is a top bloke, although the drinks we were having with him last year (I still have no idea what they were) made my head hurt the following morning!

We drank the guy dry. Not last year, Year before.

He put a drinks offer on Tar, I mean Duvel... 3 for 10 Euro's ... He has never sold so many bottles in 4 days.

We are staying in Lloret this year, My first time there.

But definitely use CST, Dave (Foti) is a top guy, And a real laugh, The first year we went he witnessed 2 wilderbeasts fighting over on of the lads in the Catalans Club house, And got the pleasure of watching one sit on a bollard, And fall off hahaha

I'm off this year. Got flights for a hundred quid each with easyjet. Not sure where we are going to stay yet. Our kid gets two thirds off most hotels through his work.

Can you remember one of them falling over that old bloke who was sat in the bar at St.Esteve just innocently watching the rugby on TV? Poor fella was traumatised! Or when they were just chatting at the bar after their first scrap and one just poured a drink over the other's head and they started fighting again?!

Aye, Hilarious, Thats after one of the academy players was ready to kill me for trying to leg him off after we got thrown off the pitch haha
