Lots of rumours of him coming to cas, so i reckon he'll go elsewhere.

in my opinion he would fit into our team for next season nice..we dont have room for overseas next year so get some good english blood in there.

Been unlucky with a bad injury. Its paid off for us with Feather taking a risk but then again it has backfired on us before with other players. Who was the 2nd row we got? ex saints who didnt play a game. Edmundson or something?

Am I right in thinnking Gibson can kick a goal or two as well? Personally I think It's worth the risk. We have a decent back row already. This should give us some depth.

Plays a fair few positions too, 2nd row cetre mainly but he has also played lf, wing and hooker!

Imo we are desperate for a pacy back, so if he woud accept an average contract i'd risk it for maybe a 1/2 years contract....thats if he wants to come to cas.

good player who would have gone to the top if it wasn't for injuries. barrie mac always fancied him as a loose forward.

Hed just be in the same place as he is in the Leeds team imo, with them signing Daryl Millard, and having Nero, Crookes and Sykes.

On the other hand we have jones, ferres, and apparentley snitch who would all get in before him and probably widders too.

At centre?

McGoldrick, Shenton, Evans.

A fast 3/4 is one position we do need. Though a winger would be better than a centre.

That rules Gibson out then.

I'm a Leeds fan and Gibson was never blessed with great speed but since his chronic knee/leg/hamstring injuries of the last 3 seasons what little pace he had has been blunted.

Good kid,can play a few positions so offers good utility value without been star quality but in no way is he a 'pacey back'

Injuries have prevented him progressing. Gibson is a solid SL player but agree he's not quick enough or big enough to make a major difference to a side.

Its difficult because he plays a few positions but i thought he was seen as more of a second rower (ie the qoute i responded to refers to second rowers at bradford).
