| I was looking at the league table today and began thinking just how exciting it would be if relegation had not been scrapped. Presuming of course that Celtic would benifit from the 3 years of been of relegation like catalans got. At the time the franchise was announced I was all for it after been relgated twice in 3 years probaly made be biased.
However now I have thought about it the lack of relegation has taken a lot of excitement away from the game. I also think it is the reason why alot of crowds are so low this year because teams have nothing to play for.
If relegation was in play this year Bradford would be in serious danger as would Salford, Hull FC and Catalans. Even us, Wigan and Wire would still have a fight on our hands. Does anybody else as i do actualy miss relagation?

| I would say amy team is capable of beating any other team, which is fantastic and as teams benefit from no relegation things will only get closer.
So i for one do not miss relegation and things will only get better imho.
Only thing to spoil the job will be team/s losing the franchise.

Yeah there are pros and cons for both relegation and the franchise. I just feel that as good as this season has been I feel there is something missing.

| We wouldn't be in the league if we still had relegation.

Yeah thats a good point to. But there is a good chance we would be looking foward to a nice long weekend in Blackpool so it wouldn't be all bad .

| On the other hand though would Michael Shenton, Richard Owen, Ryan Boyle and Joe Westerman have got have much first team action if it was not for our 2 relegations?

Westerman would. It's common knowledge that Matterson had pencilled him in for the last game of the 2006 season v Wakefield, had we have been safe by then.

On another hand would these players still be with the club if relegation had been in last year. Simple answer is No, stuck with us twice but as with all players they would want to play at the highest level possible & all had enough SL experience (as of end of last season) to attract other clubs.
