So they're giving people all the money off at places in Xscape & the like for £10.

If only a club, say 10 miles away, could also come up with the idea of having an end of their own ground for home fans only!!

Nah, can't see that happening. Opposing fans would be outraged.

So its £20 in a game with £10 on top to earn discounts at various places, I can see that but usually incentives are free or part of a discount package. Still hope it works out anything to promote the game wider has got to be good.

I think there was a bit of an over-reaction last season with the 'where we'd like you to stand' thing , Maybe the derby game wasnt the best one to try and implement it at.
I think the advantage Cas have now with introduce the members only stand is that we are taking this stance now before the season starts and saying how its going to be at Wheldon Road , Unfortunatley for Wakey they tried it after the season had started and it made it hard to implement (IMHO)

Is that broken down into Gold Silver and bronze numbers to get a feel from the fans. Without wanting to debate it Wakefield have counted Gold at about 4300, If Cas can sell more than last season like us then Bronze and silver are likely to attend further games, obviously further revenue then from people on the terraces and merchandise etc.

Have to say, if its £20 a game that isn't a very enticing deal.

It is if you look at it this way: one family trip to Nandos/Chiquitos/Frankie & Bennys and the 25% discount covers that other £10 in the bronze deal.

66% of last years season ticket holders still to renew implies 34% have renewed

if 789 people made up 34% of last years season ticket holders does that mean you had 2320 Season Ticket holders last year? That number seems quite low. I would have thought Cas had more ST holders than that.


Maybe that explains why you didn't have huge amounts of cash to spend on your squad.

It's a higher number than the one that was often mentioned of 1600 ST holders last year.

I thought we sold about 2,700 ST's last year so about right.

I just assumed your ST sales would be around the 50% of average attendance mark, so around 3,500 - 4,000

A big ask to try and sell 5,000 then with no discounting based on that figure from last year. Good luck with that!

can Wakefield they will need to sell twice the amount of season tickets than Cas, at the end of the day its not sustainable to sell tickets at half price

It would be nice to only have to pay £100 for the season but how meany seasons would it take until the club goes under common sense tels you it wont take long, if we need 8,000 fans to break even, we would need capacity crowds every week

But they've got no debt after leaving 83 creditors high and dry...we are running within our means.
