It just seems that some (not all) of your support (and indeed fans of other teams) have developed a very unhealthy, bitter obsession with Dr Koucash over the past few months. Rather than a discussion of the week's rugby league news, it comes across as petty sniping; the thread title says it all.

There's one thing highlighting something you may not agree with in a well thought out and thought provoking manner. If you want to be loved up thats fine - I can understand, especially after the situation you were in... As a rugby league fan its a disgrace that he belittles the sport so much with his own "libelous" comments - declaring that teams spend over the salary cap with noevidence to back it up.

I will agree with every word he says when he delivers his promises.

Im 50/50 on Koolca$h. Yes which fan wouldn't want somebody like him ploughing his wealth into their club,and its great that he is investing in our sport.

But some of his statements are a bit over the top and i worry (for Salfords sake) that he will bring the wrong type of players (and their agents) to his club. He has to get a balance of getting players in (who lets be honest there for the high pay cheques) and young hungry locally produced players.

Without going through all of your posts I will refer to this one and I will ignore the 'libellous post' from the Cas fan who suggests Salford have 'tapped up' a current player at Bradford.
Firstly I will ask why you suggest he has brought the game into disrepute ? Also,why have you not started a thread about Tony Smith who stated Salford should have been docked 2 points for the 14 players;after a decision was reached by the RFL;The decision to go to the clubs for their views on restructuring and now on the 'attitude' of an international player at another club ?
The CEO who is leaving the club was recommended to him,and he is now able to bring in someone of his own choice with a far larger remit.
Did any Salford follower offer an opinion when Ferres left ? was replaced by GILL ?
There are no complaints by Salford fans so why should you be worried on their behalf ?
If it is because of the rumour that the club have an interest in Chase can I expect a thread condemning the St George Illawara club ?
As I am just a supporter of the game who pays my money and takes my chance,I do not know who was at fault for the 14 or what procedures and processes are in place to prevent a repetition.
If it makes you feel any better I don't think it possible to leave the club in a worse state than it was 6 months ago.

Let's get one thing straight: without Dr Koukash coming in at the 11th hour, Super League would be a team short right now. We were dead. Buried. Kaput. Finito.

Surely it's not too much of a stretch of logic to therefore appreciate that we few fans think he's, you know, a pretty decent bloke. Arranging to clear the debt and take on a loss producing rugby league club when you've seen a handful of games in your life suggests to us that he's got a few quid. He's brought in half a dozen new players and a former Great Britain coach. That's probably cost him a few more.

Some fans may be getting a bit carried away thinking we will be top of the ladder in a couple of seasons - the Dr naively stated next year! All wrong. But now we've got a bright future. One a lot brighter than 5 months ago. We may never win a Grand Final. But this bloke's giving us a chance. So I reckon he's, you know, a pretty decent bloke.

Dee - With regards to the high opinion I have of Daz Clark - check the Rhinos page out from the thread from Friday night game, it seems they share that high opinion of him too. I never stated he was certain NRL bound, just that in my opinion he is good enough & I also believe he's good enough to join 2 of the best sides in the league in Wire & Leeds.
