Who are they & what are they doing ?

They are group of young men who are Fax fans but live in Leeds. They have been creating, buying and putting up banners all over Halfax and outskirts advertising Halifax RLFC. It is such a refreshing change to see younger people pushing Fax and I do hope the club will recognise this in some way.

The flags are all over town now. Exactly what we need lets hope more people start coming down to watch the games

I think one of them may have suggested bringing a drum to games which did not go down too well on twitter but anything to try and create an atmosphere at the home games because its like a morgue sometimes.

Drums not everyones cup of tea,but have
helped the atmosphere at Town games immensely.Could re-ignite the 'barmy-army'.

I know the lack of away fans does not help but its easier to bring new people to something if they are going to enjoy it. Having a good atmosphere certainly helps with that and its been lacking for a couple of seasons or so now. Saying that the style of rugby we play probably does not help with that either.

Drums should be banned from all stadiums, hideous idea. Get the on field product right, the rest will follow.

A drum would loose hundreds of fans instantly. Cant stand watching Leeds games on Sky due to that bloody drum and trumpet.

We might lose 1 or 2 but then we might gain 3 or 4. Its hard to say really.

You would think but in the past when we have done well recently or even going back to the Sl days our crowds did not really show an increase when we were good on the field.

Hear hear hate watching Leeds,Warr etc on TV even with volume really low can still hear Moronic tuneless mind numbing thumping

On the crowds front , 2015 showed a definitive increase in numbers as the season went on . 2016 and the poor performance showed the graph going exactly the opposite way and undid the good work. Both seasons showed that its about on the field that is the key driver.

The club however given a positive attitude and the likes of LS23 can regain enthusiasm , wake up some of the grumpy old men (check if the Waldorfs and Statlers are alive first !) and set the platform for on the field success. If we are honest a change of direction was well overdue a few years ago.

As long as the drum isn’t directly behind me I’m ok with it, anybody else just move to the othe4 end of the stand.
