Statistics obviously do lie Mr Nahaboo.....you have won the league once in those 3 years. Halifax and Sheffield won it the other years. Shield means nothing and you might not win it this year either.

Appreciate you're new to the game so just to explain, the club deemed winners of the League for the last 10 years have been the club who have won the end of season Grand Final, the final that you've lost in 2 out of the last 3 years - check out the 1000s of t-shirts in the rubbish bins out the back of the main stand saying "League Champions 2010 / 2012" for proof.

When it comes to the major trophies Fax are the most successful team in the division, a fact that can not be disputed. He is probably just worried that the closest Fev will get to SL is been first in line behind us if someone had to drop out.

That said given the new structure any team taking a spot in SL next season probably wants their heads examined.

Although you may not agree with his statement it's good to see business men taking time out and talking positive about the game Although I would be quite happy to wait another year or two the drive this man has got to get us into S/L is unbelievable I know alot of people at Fax and Cas don't like FN but Fev have welcomed him with open arms allowed him to invest his money into the club and improve what we had. I hope it continues and he brings more investors in with the drive to get Fev to the top again. All clubs at our level need to promote what they have because most run them better that the clubs in the S/L and let them know we won't go away Our crowds are better some weeks than S/L and that's with minimum away support we have made money like yourselves and the clubs like Fev and Fax need to let everyone know

As things stand I would be happy for Fev to go up.
They have streams of revenue that neither Leigh, Sheffield and ourselves have.
If however we were to own our own stadium then I would say that would be different.

The league leaders shield is awarded for errrrr..... winning the league..... which fev have managed for the last three years.
The winner of the cooperative championship last year was Sheffield by virtue of defeating us in the GF and so can call themselves champions.....

Just as daft as licenscing. But Richard Lewis is gone and there is only one Championship club who deserve to be in the top league isn't there.

Times have moved on at Leigh these past few months and would expect the invite should london fold, the RFL don't want Fevs hovel on sky representing the sport - wrong but true

Leigh have the least chance out of all of them. When they stop running out of money mid-season they might get a look in.

I understand Fev are rapidly improving their ground, they have a far better financial structure than Leigh and a far better chance of increasing their crowds.
Much as I like Leigh, you are at the best fifth in the queue.

Nahaboo has absolutely nothing to lose from putting Fev forward, problem is that the greedy amongst the SL clubs do not want anyone to join them, in fact they want and have voted for less.

Personally, I see no sense in promoting adding a 14th club just so they can reduce it to twelve next season.

We've already had the madness of promoting four, relegating none followed by relegating four promoting none.

If London drop out, run with 13 for a season.

Referring to the second paragraph regarding Championship promotion and relegation, I appreciate that at the end of last season four clubs were promoted from Championship 1 but is it correct that four teams will be relegated this year as implied? Or will that be next year?

Can anyone confirm how many relegation spots there are from the Championship?

It's equally apt that he quotes that other gob sheeeeeite Marwan Koukash. Whatever happens, in 12 months time we'll see if the new money men (Omar Kash, Koukash and Nabkashboo) really are worth their fat gobs or whether they're just a bunch of Michael Knighton's heading the ball.
