All messageboard users are invited by the Players Association to the re-opening of the Halifax Hall of Fame. It's on Wednesday 18th May in the Shay Banqueting Suite, 7 p.m. No charge.

After finally getting permission to display the photos in the bar area, each of the 38 was re-photographed and re-framed (grateful thanks to Mike Riley) and professionally hung (grateful thanks to Mick O'Byrne). They have been in place for a few weeks now, but the re-launch gives those who do not usually go into that area a chance to see them, plus a chance to meet some of the greats from the past who will be present.

The rest of the club's photos, caps, medals etc remain in storage pending a Council decision on where they could go.

Hope some of you can get there on May 18th.

So far the former players in the Hall of Fame who will be coming along are, Ken Dean, John Burnett, Garfield Owen, Ronnie James, Mick Scott and John Martin. Karl Harrison sends his apologies as it is training night for Batley next Wednesday. Others who will be there are Mick Blacker and Peter Jarvis.
