Bradford were given some tickets the south stand as well. not really suprised that we have only sold 2000 tickets because of our on field performances and to be perfectly honest we haven't done a great job adverising it have we? Other than the odd article about it in the worrier. I think i read in the programme the other week that they were still pretty confident of a sell out. How? If in total there has been 5000 tickets sold aprox after been on sale nearly a month how do u plan on selling 4000 in a week?!?!?!

I wouldn't have thought that's going to affect the crowd in any way. Right enough it's a big game now and if it was on Saturday I probably would watch it but a game in a completely different sport isn't going to drastically affect the attendance of Fax's game.

We have this claim at City when we play on a Tues night and people go 'It's champions league tonight so the crowd will suffer'...are they genuinely saying 200-300 more people would go to the game if some other match was on the tele? I doubt it and that's the same sport.

i just think quite a few floaters who would have wandered down on sunday may think to save some cash and watch the footy instead, especially with the way weve been performing

Let be honest the stronger argument that WILL effect the gate due to our current form is that the game is being shown live on the BBC. Your floating supporters looking to save some cash are more likely to do this do you not think??

I agree obviously people will watch it on TV rather than pay to come and watch however for some the choice to do that will have been made easier by the teams recent on field form. Looks like yet another lost opportunity for Halifax RLFC and it will be the final nail in the coffin of our Super League dream.

To say that Bradford fans had a waffle about switching the game to odsal for them to only give away 3000 tickets when they have 11000 season ticket holders is pretty poor going.

Not much we can do when you only give us 3k to give away. We've used all our allocation which is more than fax can say.

The 3k Allocation didn't even go straight away, It was enough tickets for more than 25% of the season ticket holders to claim, yet that percentage didnt even turn up, Bulls were going to put them on general sale.

11k Season Ticket Holders may be a big figure, but if the prices go back to a "Full Price" how many will renew?
