I know its hard work for Quins etc but once again another poor crowd. Fax who play in a League below, got more than 1766 in all there League games except the Sheffield game. And the Leigh and the Thursday Widnes games in 2011 got bigger crowds than all 3 games. Its a joke when you look at the "Top" game in SL with the top teams getting 2624 people. Quins and Crusaders must be struggling really badly as there is noway they can continue getting such crowds.

I think they'll keep going as long as they're backed financially. Someone is losing money hand over fist there for sure. You cannot fund full time players with those crowds. Yes, the clubs can survive on sponsorship but who's going to sponsor those clubs ? There's no exposure with those attendances and they're not on telly enough to justify a big investment.

Whether it's BskyB or the RFL directly, that takes some serious wad of cash to fund.

What you reckon the attendance will be for the full day tomorrow at the Shay? Be good to see it 2750+ but think that's a bit optimistic.

I hope (and i'm sure they will) the club are promoting the bungalow out of the Fev game on Sky. With France away and a bye week to start with there's 3 weeks to solely focus on it.

was at the hudds quins game and they only open one stand to in their words "create some atmosphere" was strange having two of the other stands closed and bout 20 giants fans behind sticks, we had over 100 there, saw siddal v swinton at shay few yrs back and was nearly 1000 for them alone so should be looking at 3000 if everyone comes out in force for both games

Would be good to get over 3000 there, make for a decent atmosphere indeed.

Theres no pressure on these clubs go splash the cash though with no relegation...so in a way theyre safe financially with sensible budgeting surely

The chap who owns quins pumps in around £1.5 million a season "aparently" so at the moment there gates are irrelivent.
Iv'e also read somewhere that he should have retired this year but is going to continue working for another 3 years so he can continue to finance quins rl.
