Anywhere to go for a drink on Sunday?
Is there anywhere just off the M1 around that area before we go into the city centre anybody know?

I'm off to the Middlewood Tavern for one - then dropping the wife off at the ma-in-law's in Hillsborough.

Visited Bramall Lane a couple of years back to watch a friend play football in a local final. There's a super pub on Bramall Lane itself, think it is under one of the stands if I remember correct. setup as a sports bar with tv and decent music on. Defo worth a visit!

John Street is the stand open but youll need to go round the other side to get your ticket from the ticket office.

And to park in a disabled space!

Blame Sheffield United for that one, we only play there.

If so will it be open, if not where is everbody going?

You can buy booze inside the stadium, also there is a bar called 'Tunnel bar' which is on the John Street side, has a big screen and £2 a pint (apparently, i've never been in as it's not usually open when we play, it's open on Sunday though as Sheffield United are on tv)

If you're coming on the train then check out the Sheffield Tap on platform 1B - literally hundreds of beers from around the globe, must be at least a dozen different beers just on the pumps. Also the Devonshire Cat on Division Street is 10 mins walk away and again has an incredible selection of drinks.

London Road is not too far from the ground and has a number of pubs on there, but before the game you're likely to find them full of football fans and it's not a place i'd really recommend.

Just stopping off for a quick slurp before dropping the missus off in Hillborough

Looking at the Eagles website - the suggested off-street parking seems to be miles away!

Nothing closer or do you think you can park on site?
