| I went in March to see Keighley.
Was very expensive on the whole.
Beer was 5-6 euros for a pint, the Kronenbourg is miles better than over here though.
Taxis to City Centre from Airport was around 40 euros.
Best advice I can give is use the flybus to and from the airport was cheap and stopped in a few places in the city centre.
Use the outstanding underground metro from the city centre to the ground. Very cheap and Barrière de Paris station is a minute's walk from the ground.

| We went earlier in the year and for the average, normal fan who just wants somewhere to sleep, eat and drink, nothing extravagant its nowhere near as expensive as people are making out.
Theres a pub in the centre called The Melting Pot, they absolutely love all the RL fans coming over, loads or championship flags and scarves decorate the place. The Metro is the cheapest way to get around and a laugh aswell if theres a few of you together.
We stayed at the Ibis, theres a couple of them knocking about, all basic clean and cheap.Inside the ground is probably the most expensive IIRC 3euros for half pint 6 for a pint. The sausage barm things were 5euros (very good though) Toulouse put on a show for us after the game in a sports hall next to the ground, food, beer with all the players after the game.
Now for the not so normal, idiotic type of fan, there are a couple of strip clubs that allow you to spend TWO THOUSAND POUND on your credit card drinking expensive champagne, surrounded by naked dancers, they'll happily kick you out at 8am when all your mates have left you to board there planes home. If you are going to go to the strip club (not 'Pink and Blue') cant remember its name, they are an official sponsor of Toulouse and will give you a few complimentary tickets, theres probably a picture of me behind the bar somewhere, waiting for my next arrival!
Eventually I got home a day and half later than scheduled with a credit card bill I'm still slowly paying off, was it worth £2800 for 2 days in France watching the Leythers??
Damn right it was!!

The original was post of the year, the recollection is just as good
You should just be glad the ash cloud cocked up our Limoux trip or you'd have an ever bigger bill

| Can certainly recommend The Melting Pot as a good pub. On the Friday Night they put a Super League game on the tv for us. After the game on the Saturday night we went back and the England vs France Onion game was on and the place was buzzing.
Also stayed in an Ibis hotel (Toulouse Centre) and was a decent hotel near Melting Pot, Metro Station and Flybus stop.

That was Girl Power. I went down with my old man. But did spend quite a bit of time in the hotel bar with Mike, his daughter and GP.
There was about 10 of us in the same hotel IIRC.
