Just one last push to try and get a few extra bums on seats before the season gets under way.

Only problem is, the ones they are telling via the forum and website, are the ones who have got them and know all about it.

They need to be on the streets around town with Halicat and the players kitted out in their shirts doing the hard sell.

Still think the Skircoat as a Family Stand would be a good idea, get special offers on for free kids tickets and reduced offers for their parents. Face painting, kids entertainers etc. all spreading the word that Fax games are a good days entertainment for all. We know the lads are doing it on the pitch, we need off field entertainment as well.

I know it all takes money, but we need to start getting people in and upping the gates long term.

Hope you get out of this financial trouble as you have a strong squad and must be favourites this season.If players do not get paid then that means trouble.Goodluck though and hope not as bad as it seems.

Sad to see the firm go under as many people will now be jobless. Fax are lucky to some extent to have such great directors who are able to help as and when. But manybe supporters can also look to help the club out by making a small donation if possible even if its just an extra tenner or so.
I fear for Keighley more as they have money problems and this was the last news they needed.

I hope the club has sufficient funds in place to steer them through this cash strapped period (particularly in light of the inevitability of Link Telecom), if not were phuuuuucked

Link Telecom's Chief Executive is Keighley's new CEO.

Cougars don't have financial problems anymore as we're run by a new holding company. To be honest this doesn't inspire any confidence in his ability to run us. I think he's going to get a very hard time at the directors Q&A at Cougar Park tonight put it that way.

Its not good news but its not new news either.

Six fugure sum? Doubt even our main sponsor is stumping up over £100k per season.

Hopefully your owners will continue to see the club through times of cash shortage, so I am assuming this will not do any lasting damage.

But it’s a bigger issue even than this. Seems Link Telecom are reported as owing huge amounts of money to many Bradford (and other??) schools. Seems to be the potential for a major scandal here, if what we read in the T&A and elsewhere is correct.

They are also a Bulls sponsor (fingers in how many pies...?), and for some inexplicable reason Bulls still have them up as a sponsor on the site. A sponsor in Administration is a sponsor no longer, and I think the time may come very soon when no-one will want to be seen to be associated with Link Telecom.

I fear for Keighley, to be honest. I have a horrid feeling that, through no fault of their own, it will end in tears.

The Halifax problem (and this is no dig at Halifax...pales anyway into insignificance compared with e.g. Super League neighbours losing £1.3m but safe cos of a bankrolling owner) also reinforces the concern that the most of the game is built on financial foundations of sand – it is miles away from being financially self-supporting, and without rich owners willing and able to bankroll clubs, the game is stuffed. What the hell the solution is...buggered if I know, but sooner or later the game needs one.

They sponsor As far as im aware, Halifax, Keighley, St.Helens, and now Bradford as mentioned in the above post, and the courier article mentions they also sponsor a number of Union Clubs.
