You should be favourites by a country mile.Serious now you have 23 to 25 players in your squad with experience.Widnes have about 18 and if get injuries will rely on youngsters.RFL stating you need a academy with 8 players in your squad is a joke.Lucky if 2 or 3 prove worthy enough at this level.

not forgetting a resurgent Batley, stronger Tolouse and Barrow, confident Dewsbury a re-vitalised Leigh and an always strong 'Haven.

Cougars looked impressive when they stuffed Saints reserves 44-0 in a game reduced to 30 minutes each way on Sunday.
I think we'll surprise a few teams this season, we've a good pair of half backs, a decent pack and some quality in the 3/4 line and look a hell of a lot fitter and stronger than last season.
I would lump on us to beat Blackpool on handicap (-2) this weekend |
