IMO Walsh wont make it in SL & will struggle in our league. He's not big enough to play prop or strong enough for 2nd row. Didnt he play at 13 against us in the friendly? He's good at tackling & has speed, but thats it.

Think he will do well for the Seagulls and would have preffered him to have signed for them next Monday instead of today.

Thought he could have made a good addition to the Fax squad when he played for us last season, but with the way the team has developed this year, think he would have struggled to make an impact now.

There is a lot of SL players getting loaned out to lower league clubs and we utilise the situation ourselves to benefit our squad, but do the SL clubs have too many players ? If a bloke is too good for reserve rugby and the SL club can't give him first team rugby at their own club then in my opinion they've got too many players on their books. I heard Gary Thornton commentating on the Fev v Wire game last sunday and he reckoned that almost every player that turned out for Fev in that game has SL experience, that say's something about the current standard in the championship.

I wonder if they're trying to get their 'Cap' figures down?
