| The big concern though is that those Fax fans that went to Odsal/Giants etc. are not coming back to Fax but are being lost to the game completely. Fair weather they may but they would still help our gates, which to be fair, are poor. I really cannot see us getting above 5k at this time, even in SL, so I don't think that we can realistically think about going in without the risk of going belly up unless we get some financial backing.

| I dont want Fax in SL. It would hurt us financially. We would never get to finals and win silverware. SL is full of lies and deceit with Woods the dictator at the top. The RFL are corrupt and couldnt organize a p in a brewery. Look at the wc no dates even the clubs hosting games have no info. My wife even said how wierd and badly run things are and she has only been watching since 2008! The crusaders fiasco no investigation. The failure of the licence review to see that 3 clubs in 18 months are in deep trouble will be ignored by Nige and the RFL. All they care about is themselves and have a system where anybody who speaks out is threatened.

| We couldn't manage financially in the top league, Widnes have posted a 400k loss which the chairman has covered, where would we get that sort of money?

| We wont survive in the Championship. Take 100 off the gates every year. I think we would last 5 more years in the Championship at most.

| Massive localised marketing is needed at our level , it should be being done with help from the RFL , but they cannot see past the SL model for anything , it really does need collaberation between clubs to increase support numbers by improving the match day experience , and also in finding and exploiting new non playing/match income streams
Moving up to SL for any current Championship club will prove a dissaster , It would be quite a statement of intent if all the clubs collectively stated as such , not that it would bother the incumbents of Red Hall , they would see it as a positive step rather than than a clear statement of their failure to manage the lower tiers
If Fev go for it , then they will need a huge amount of luck

| P and R doesn't exist between SL and championship, we have been cast aside by sky for all intents and purposes, we play to a different points structure than SL, our play off format is different, our targets and projections can never be clearly drawn out as any figures have to be speculative and no teams in our level will ever again be able to call themselves full time professionals.
As a group of clubs living to meager budgets what have we to lose? Starbug is right, the route to success for our clubs is getting clearer by every SL cover up or disaster that arises.
Any business model, company or group that fails at least, and I stress at least, a quarter of their organisation is doomed to fail. We are best off keeping well away while the stitching continues to come away from the whole disaster above us.
I fully agree with the comment that some fans will drift away within five years if we never have the chance to progress. The thing is, what do we class as progression at the moment. I for one believe some big changes will happen within five years in our game, at this moment tho I ain't sure what they will be with the muppetts running our sport for us.

| I am really saddened to read some of the gloating posts on here, it wasn't so long since I and many other Bulls supporters made donations to keep your club afloat. You may well be right in what you say regarding the grading of grounds etc but that really isn't anything any rugby fan can control.
Before you start slating my post - I was introduced to rugby league by attending Odsal some years ago and this season I have attended as many games at Halifax as I have at Bradford for the sheer enjoyment of the game. If Bradford folds it will be fellow rugby league supporters that will suffer the most.

Unfortunatley you have a couple of things going against you , 1 your club has systematically tried to pinch fans of other local clubs , 2 you are a SDL club , and by virtue of that deserve all you get , you get the millions from SKY , and you still it up , Fax and others work hard with no help from Red Hall and then get publically crucified for showing unhappiness with quite ridiculous decisions
Try the Bronco's board for some sympathy , oops forgot , your chairman wanted to vote them out of existence a few years back

Not as many people and clubs helped us on the scale that Bradford Bulls are now to raise a far less sum of money infact it was because of Howard Ponsner that our club stayed alive plus I didnt see everyone wanting to help Leigh recently and Whitehaven, Rochdale, Doncater and Oldham before that and when Blackpool Panthers went bust no one in Super league even blinked. The RFL are failing the game its time to fight them. The spirit of 1873 La Resistanse

| There has even been an interview with Robbie Paul on Radio 2 this teatime, he was saying how the sporting family, not just RL, is pulling together to help the Bulls out.
Makes me sick, where has all this publicity been when other clubs have been struggling, especially those outside of Super League.
The Bulls board would have been more than happy to see us or Keighley go under to give them a chance to expand their fan base. What goes around comes around. Pity the RFL changed the goalposts on administration to protect London a few years ago.
Bollox to them I say, they shouldn't have based their business plan and budgets on reaching play offs and other speculative events.

| Bur isn't that like us including getting through the group stages of the NR and round 3 of CC. You've got to plan for somethings in budgets and to be fair the Bulls have usually tended to reach the playoffs.
I think a big issue (no pun intended on them being homeless) is that the RFL wanted their money back because they are in deep as well

| From the pledge page on their site: "PPS – Across the vast majority of Super League the average season ticket price is around or indeed more than £200. A £100 donation would not only SAVE OUR CLUB, but still be less than £200.
PLEASE ACT NOW AND MAKE YOUR PLEDGE!"
Should have made it £200 in the first place and made a go at running the club as a sustainable business then!
Folk wonder why the lower league teams get a bit wound up about stuff, they all work hard with about 5 full-time staff and an array of volunteers and run their club based on what money they get in from 'real' crowds while the SL lot throw out stupid deals trying to get all locals to support them and making it seem like they're the best thing since sliced bread and end up with a e business plan.
And what do they get for this? All the TV money, sponsorship money and a chuffing license to an 'elite' competition.

| remember afew years ago when Leeds utd gambled on reaching the champions league, and dint. Then were forced to attempt to work their way back up from the middle leagues?
will bradford have to do this?
if, and it looks likely to me, that they go into administration....they should be forced to fullfill their fixtures with whatever team they can field.
then they should be stripped of their licence, and depending on the state of the club then, assuming there still is one, they should be forced to start again.
from the bottom, like me or you if we were declared bankrupt.
i know its harsh, but its the reality.
it may sound like i am taking pleasure in the bulls plight, i am not. but you have to be fair, and the rfl simply have to make it a fair playing field, which it hasnt been for a while.
this is the only way that the corrupt redhall can rescue any credibility from this whole franchise fiasco.

Leeds were not 'forced' to work their way back from the middles leagues. They were relegated.
There is no promotion and relegation in Super League. HTH.

You should be stripped of your license, just like Wakefield & Harlequins (new brand).
Give me the championship any day! The proper league.

Re-structuring of the Championships. Four promoted from Championship 1, none relegated from Championship, all part of the expansion conspiracy looking at the clubs already accepted into the Championship. Exactly the same as SL. Oh, hang on a minute.....

| The Bulls should lose their licence after this season. They are not in a position to comply with the minimum standards and should rebuild in championship 1. Where was all this help for us Wakey, Leigh, Whitehaven, Leigh, Keighley? SL is all about if your face fits. I expect big Bige and co to allow Bradford to stay in SL. I dont want Bradford to die but be treated like us championship clubs. The whole thing stinks but SL and the RFL font care as long as they are their friends like Bradford are ok

thats exacly it....no body wants to see a club go out of business.
but all we want is a set of rules where every team applies.
not
"oh well it depends what your postcode is!"
or
"well you did bring us cheer leaders 1st!"
There is no way they will raise another £850,000 before the end of april! unless somebody comes in and buys them. Who would want to buy a business with £850,000 debt, before you even think about starting to make the club profitable again...remember RL is not exactly megabucks city is it!
