I went down to the club this morning and did just that , I did get seats for the new stand but you do have a choice of staying in the Skircoat if you so wish. I do think that the normal price of £18 for the new stand is a little steep but it is the first rise for a few years and is not well over what others pay in our league. It may force some people to reconsider and choose their matches but I did notice in the letter sent out by the club you can pay by standing order of 4 monthly instalments which I think the club should be shouting out loud about.This is ideal for those who find it a sizable amount to pay out in one go let`s all get down and get the season tickets .The club will be able to strengthen the squad so hopefully we can have an even better squad next year.As Barrow have shown money can bring success and as we have not got a Des it means we are all going to have to put an extra £1 in ourselves ,wether it be for the matchday ticket, joining the lottery or the Supporters Trust. We can all do our bit even if it`s just buying a raffle ticket every now and then.

I have rang the club several times this morning, to buy one, but just got an answerphone, that on 3 occasions cut me off before I could even finish saying what I had rung for. On the last occasion, about 50 mins ago I did manage to leave my name and number and a brief message, but no call back yet.

did you get to choose a perticular seat? as the leaflet says " seating plan not ready yet", if not when are seats available to choose.

I have tried a couple of time since, but without success.

I do wannt to give the club £160.00 of my money to keep in their account for a few months, and also want to take advantage of the free ticket for Thursday, but I work in Chesterfield so cant just pop in.

Could someone from the club please inform us if the installment payment scheme is available for the early-bird offer or just for full price?

Anyway, I can't grumble at the increases, that's the going rate nowadays, and all clubs charge more for sitting. Personally I'd rather buy a season ticket - you pay on the plastic and it's not real money. Paying £15 on the day IS real money, and it hurts when paying for a pay on the day match like Thursday ... with beer, it'll turn into a 30 to 40 quidder, an expensive night out.

Look at the SL play off attendances last weekend ... all pay on the day, even season ticket holders don't appear to bother turning up!

Only the Leeds gate looked decent. Even the Pies had a poor crowd.

So by "full price tickets" I don`t know wether they mean "not early bird" or do they mean not childrens or pensioners. Maybe someone could clarify that for you.

I personally wouldnt blink an eye at paying £20 a game to watch my home town

I tried ringing this morning, got no reply, so ducked out of work to head down the Shay and got my ticket.

Mike Riley sorted out the tickets, but there were three girls in the office as well, and they all looked very busy.

I think they should have closed the Skircoat - one or both of the stands is going to be fairly empty and lacking in atmosphere (unless crowds pick up considerably). Not an issue for me as I'll be in the South Stand.

£18 ain't cheap for a "casual" attendee at matches, but £155 for a ST for me and my lad (which includes all league and NRC away games) is just fine by me to support the Fax.

The club eventually rang me back, at about 4:30 and I have bought mine, for the East Stand. I just have a couple of hopes:

1. The stand gets finished and opened
2. Quite a few people decide to use this stand which will create an atmosphere.

Still trying to buy mine on line but not available yet. For flyer to actually quote the web site as a place you can purchase them and then to not have them available yet to me is simply not good enough. What do other people think?

Thats what I did, but it did take 6 and a half hours of trying before being able to speak to them.

Hey, ho, they were very buys (which is a good sign) and I have got mine and they posted me a family ticket for Thursday, so alls well that ends well.

Ive just rang the office & they said that you can only use the 4mth standing order for the full price. Early Bird tickets need to be paid for in full.

No you cant, technology not quite there yet, but I am sure they will let you purchase it over the phone and e-mail a pic in. I am sure thats how I did it last year..
