I couldn't think of a better draw, a game at home against a rival team,w hich should be a great encounter and a healthy gate. Coupled with a lot of SL teams drawn together, and big teams at that, I couldn't think of a better draw.

Its a nice thought but I doubt it very much, not with 5 all Superleague games.

Leeds vs St Helens is the most obvious one for a Saturday game to be shown and possibly Catalans vs Bradford, to see a french side go through.

Celtic are bound to be on as the Welsh public are biting at the bit for RL as the massive viewing figures for the SL show reveal.........errrrrrr........yes

Can't see the Beeb paying for a trip to France. Would expect Barrow-Wigan to be the other tie with the potential of a giantkilling.

The BBC don't tend to show teams outside SL, I think I remember Whitehaven vs Warrington a few years ago though

That was a quarter final game against Widnes; Toulouse lost to Leeds in the semi final that year (2005). It was the TV curtain raiser to Wigan losing 75-0 at Saints.

We lost by 50-odd points away to Hull FC the day before so, as you can imagine, the two games on the Sunday cheered us up no end

Yeh, Was Red Hot, I Was in Paris at the time and the heat was ridiculous, Think it'll be a big advantage to Toulouse who will be used to it and some teams travelling over there will tire very quick in the heat.

Dont think Widnes were helped by wearing Black shirts either (IIRC).

With the Halifax vs Widnes match being a split all pay gate, why not (provided both clubs agree) set the Entry prices the same as against Loughborough (£10 Adults ect)

Would maximise the crowd, 3300 the other night whilst on telly was a great crowd, could potencially add 1000 1500 to that with it not been on the box.
