Let's hope Salty gets himself fitter than last years close season. A bit of sprint training wouldn't go amiss. To be fair his strength is making hard yards out of defence which he does to good effect , but he's only ever going to score close range try's. I probably think Qlt has last seasons record for the furthest distance travelled for a try at Dewsbury and probably Chester butler a close second with the ones at Batley and Swinton .

All gone quiet on the new signings front does pre season training not start soon. Early bird discount is on as well need signings to shift tickets

I think pre-season training starts on 15th November.

Can't imagine the 2019 early bird sales are going well because it's flat as a proverbial on here and the club site . Marketing really needs to kick in with something to wet the appetite. To be fair to mark Moore he worked at feeding the sausage machine as required and that mantle feels void currently; come on bod step up and make a presence . And tempt all us fence sitters

I will say what I’ve said before, our BOD do not know how to run a rugby league club, so they will get things wrong.

They have all the right intentions but there is a need for experience in certain areas. PR and marketing are a prime example. Without Mark’s huge work rate there is a huge gap.

Same for many a year now, the club will spend 30k or whatever on a prop forward but wont even pay someone half that to market the club instead thinking they can just bring in school leavers and it be a success. What LS28 have done should have been achievable by the club its not like its rocket science what they have done but they have done it well so you have to ask why the club has not been able to do the same.

A good marketing manager could recoup his salary 10 times over. The club has just taken on a media "apprentice". Apprenticed to who? When I was an apprentice I had an experienced person teaching me everything they knew for 5 years. This lad has no such mentor.

I agree HS even I havnt got round to renewing my S/T yet just seems to be nothing to get excited about at the moment.
