| is it me or does it seem that prices for next year have gone up by £3 to £4 depending which stand you sit in, east stand will be £18 matchday entry while skircoat stand will be £17, either way a big jump from fax website:
What are the admission prices for the 2009 Co-Operative Championship season?
Adults £14 whether you choose to sit or stand, with £9 for concessions and £5 for Juniors.
* Concessions are OAP's and Full-Time Students. Juniors are 16 and under
Also why cant you choose your seat in east stand, leaflet says because "we have not yet recieved a full seating plan", why? surely this is in the plans the builders are working to? so if you wait untill seating plan IS ready will that be after the "early bird " cutoff time so you have to pay £200 for a seat?
I think in times of this recession, putting prices up like this is not going to attract fans back to watch Fax, they wouldn't pay£14 so why will they pay £18, not a good move in my opinion.

| My job isn't very secure at the moment, so I might not get to many, if any, games next year.
£18 to sit in new stand.

Where have you got this from? I haven't seen these figures anywhere!
East stand £160 /14 home games = £11.42
Skircoat £140 /14 = 10
South £130 = 9

Where do you get 14 home games from? I thought it was 10 home on the league, and 2 home in the NRC.

IF we get there, and if we do it might mean a trip to unglamourous Barrow .... and that still only makes 13.

| I would have liked to see East stand prices the same as the south stand just for the first season at least then we could see what it looked like with people in it for a change. South stand for me.

I agree.
What we will end up with is the small amount of people that currently sit in the Skircoat stand being split between the East stand and the Skircoat stand thereby reducing the atmosphere.
I, personally, am going in the East stand, but could see a lot of people not wanting to pay the extra and staying put.

| Oh dear. Even I am pessimistic about the effect this will have. Do the directors not understand that 2000 supporters paying £13 brings in more money that 1000 paying £18?

| Just do the early bird then and don't pay on the gate it works out about £6 cheaper..
Even the season ticket is reasonable working out £3 cheaper..
Am sure the club would prefer more season tickets bought...
Personally don't think it is as bad as people making out, like Graham Clay has said we have had frozen prices for 3 years!!

| Because the council own the ground our only income stream is the gates (whereas I believe we used to have the catering etc). Ticket prices haven't moved for 3 years and the money has to come from somewhere. I guess the timing may not great with a lot of people being skint but at the end of the day we ain't a charity either.

But having the prices set at 14 quid didn't bring in thousands of extra fans. And its only 15 in the south stand, where the majority stand, not 18. And that is pay on the day.
It's not bad at all. Summat for nothing, is that how it should be all the time?
The only disappointment is no transfers. I want to get my usual south stand season ticket, but i want to sample the east stand on occasion... May i suggest to the club that upgrades be made available on matchdays at the ticket office for season ticket holders, eg pay 3 quid and get an east stand ticket.

| Can't grumble about the 2010 prices, some grounds charge more now!
What I would say though is the prices are at a level where a 'speculative' supporter may be put off.
This same 'speculative' supporter is the potential new supporter the club requires.
I would hope the club really push cheap promotional tickets in 2010 to tap into the 'speculative' market.
With that I dont just mean walking around the town centre throwing them at anyone, more targeting of local schools, RL clubs (with Juniors), large employers in area etc..

| The offer of a family ticket for thursdays game is a good one, which if you take up the offer effectivley knocks £38 off a season ticket.
