We only have issues with Whitehaven who we just cannot seem to beat very often.

Playing 6 or 7 isn't what I meant by pivotal players. If you're expecting a game plan on show or go then great but surely all these players are playmakers, you can't have so many in the team otherwise the structure breaks down.

I agree AJ, but I think this move will give us much more balance. Penky is a great player but is not a number 6. His game is off the cuff and not structured, as such when our forwards are being dominated he struggles more than most. Hopefully LB will sign and give us a weapon to unlock 'static' defences as well as defences on the back foot.

Possibly, although if royston is leaving and going back to oz i would expect beswick to play 13, this would allow govin to be cover for 6,7,9 and 13. Although i can't see that we would let Anthony Bowman leave otherwise there wasn't really any point in signing him this year.

Not sure, suppose it'd be upto him to fight for a spot and Branighan hasn't been signed/announced yet. Govins been pretty good when he's played this year, although everybody was at the start of the year. He's just incredibly unlucky with injury.
