Dave you are correct, Leigh have not lost a League game at the LSV for around 3 seasons now,in fact I can't remember the last game we lost,BUT this record has to come to an end sometime, will it be Sunday?I must admit I've been worried a couple of times this season, the Bradford game last week was one , but the most worrying was Batley a couple of months ago,Fax's problem is this Leigh side never know when they are beat..

Personally I too would hate that to happen, but I feel grudges are still held against the Bulls and Wakey for sending out weakened teams prior to the MPG last season which (possibly) made it easier for Fax and Eagles to win, costing us over 300k. Hopefully sport wins out over business, and before any Fax fans want to say I am getting my excuses in, it is nothing of the sort. Even our strongest side will have a tough time against Fax showing the form they have of late.

Demon I agree that it should be a good tough game. I am coming over with an honest belief that we can turn you over. I hope that I am right but you never know, I thought that when we played Swinton and Batley at home!

That's a bit of a daft comment given we took over 500 to Swinton last weekend. Why would we not turn up at the LSV?

Fax don't get great home crowds nowadays (over 10 years in the 2nd tier with SL teams in close proximity has seen to that), but a good proportion of our fans travel to away games as well.

Given blocks A and B don't look to hold much more than 600 folk (392 in block B and block A looks much smaller), it could perhaps be a bit of a problem if a few more Fax fans make the trip on Sunday.

We are playing well at the moment but so are Leigh. Unbeaten at home a record they will want to keep intact. Have strengthened significantly and cant see many weaknesses in Leigh team. Kicking game and who makes less mistakes. Hopefully Scott and GM will have kicking boots on. See it been close. going for a score of Leigh 24 Fax 18.

The only weakness I can see from Fax (Swinton aside) is they're struggling to get points on the board in that first 20 mins.Thats the period where Leigh are strongest at the minute.
If Fax can keep the scores within reach in the first quarter,then its game on!

If its any consolation we would probably have beaten Bradford's full team anyway. Im more disappointed that Salford let Bradford win as I believe we might have snook it against Wakey in the MPG.

Mr Hall, I still have nightmares about that game, I can still see The Worrier going about 70 yards under the sticks at the North Stand end, Fax really made us suffer that day.
As for the player still playing, I would guess at either Miles Greenwood or Jacob Fairbank.
