Part quotes.
"Worrincey pushed the ball out so why was a drop out not given plus many more mistakes."
The ref gave offside from the chase encroaching within the ten so he gave a penalty to defense instead of a drop out.
"How long is Moore out for we missed him yesterday. Also where was Broughton and Robinson."
Brandon should be straight back in for Fev having now served his ban likely as a straight swap for Carlisle who came off for a head injury if he fails the follow up assessment.
"Broughton had a slight knock and Robbo will likely come in for Rovers.
Poor performance but we managed to win. Its hard to say where we are after that as I don't expect Sheffield to be in the top5 at the end of the season and despite all the ball they had I didn't think they caused us too much trouble and it was just the pressure of the repeat sets that broke us down. A couple of bad calls went against us with the JWH knock on that wasn't and a player basically sin binned for been over aggresive which put us under a lot of pressure and lead us to only really have 2 attacks on the Sheffield line in the first half.
2nd half again we were really not at the races with poor discipline and poor handling hampering us but I would love to see the Roberts no try again as firstly it looked like the Sheffield player had both hands on the ball before Roberts stole it to ground it with the ref confirming he thought Roberts had the ball giving the held up signal but then giving a turnover for the double whammy.
Player wise I thought Roberts stood out and I also thought we missed Robinson, as well as McGrath took his try, Robinson offers so much more bringing the ball out from our own line. From what we have seen so far this season it is going to be so important for any top 5 push that we get some quality players from Huddersfield.
Spot on assessment.Actually thought we'd lost the ball (again) when the ref gave us another 6 for the decider so that sort of balanced up the no try-which was a difficult call.
