This season at the shay, each team played the top of the league in the last six weeks......

13th April Halifax v Leigh (RL) 2,282 att.

29th March Halifax v Luton 3,586 att.

Either team doing well is brilliant for the town, it's a winner in my book. Hope to see all proud halifaxians tonight.

Lost today hard luck I say, problem is for Town now Aspin to leave, he has been offered a full time contract at another club, and don't know who he is called but top goal scorer, is set to leave?
It's a funny old game.

Lee Gregory, and he won't be with Town next season either. The hottest property in the conference, but he didn't have any real chances to do anything today. A real shame because Town went into the playoffs on form against a side that has struggled to maintain their own. Out-maneuvered tactically over the two legs... sounds familiar...!!!

Town have done brilliant this season come on nobody expected them to get into the play offs and beat all the top clubs at least once losing only 1 home game all season, well done.

Agreed, they have surpassed all expectations and it is a shame for the fans and the whole town that they did n't reach Wembley as I'm sure it would have been a boost for all sport in Halifax.

Aspin bottled it by only playing one up front and setting them up for 0-0. Massive chance missed for a trip to Wembley.
