Quote ="urbancarrot"Should there now not be also an internal investigation at red hall about how this scenario has happened twice in three years?
We at Fax now have to take the punishment on the chin but surely the RFL are somewhat accountable having this happen twice in three years and the only reason they found out this year was because of a fans messageboard which strikes me just as bad as the way Fax have handled the situation?
There must be a way of spotting that a club has played an ineligable player or a system whereas when a newly signed player is registered that it is red flagged that they have played in previous rounds with the RFL and that information is then passed to the club.'"
Yer as I have put elsewhere this mess up must never happen again, it is bad enough letting it ALMOST slip through the net but even worse to only take action on the day of the game.
Surely a filter to see who played for who aint too difficult is it?
Something like a spreadsheet of players who played in one round in alphabetical order are compared to one for the next rounds just to check?
Too simple that for our wonderful RFL.
Like politicians they play to what tune they think we want to hear or more likely the powerful ones who tell them what to do.
Who runs the RFL???
