Quote ="harry1"I can't say that I agreed with all his decisions tonight - watching the game on telly afterwards I could see a lot more of what was penalised and there looked to be only 2 or three debatable decisions.
It is one of the few times this season we have seen a ref police the play the ball area to the letter of the rules of the game and Halifax benefited from this massively imo - its not a surprise that Penky and Gleeson were able to torment the Fev team from the play the balls.'"
I was at the game and I have also watched it back on TV and I think you should have gone to specsavers....
First penalty for holding down was 2 seconds after the player hit the ground. Said high tackle never went above the players collarbone. He was conned by Harris taking the dive (5.1 by the way), he was completely inconsistant, 29 minutes before the first penalty was awarded to Halifax and there was opportunity after opportunity for him to award one earlier...
And the video ref???? There was nothing wrong with Shad's try, there was definately no obstruction, the feverstone defender chose to tackle the dummy runner, not the other way around.
Thats said we won, inspite of the officials, so come on you FAX....
