Went to see a gig at the cockpit in Leeds the other week. Some excellent stuff in particular someone called hannah trigwell who was releasing her debut Ep. Excellent voice, and she can play music as well

She's on at Kendal Calling - I shall make sure I check her out.

She is very good, and quite easy on the eye as well

Tickets for this will be like gold dust. His gig in 2008 at the Brudenell was amazing.

Not overly impressed by the collaboration between King Creosote and John Hopkins. To me John Hopkins should have been more to the fore, it could well have been passed off as just a King Creosote album. However on a less negative note, I am quite keen on Sarabeth Tucek.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Young Legionnaire on Thursday. I had no idea that they had the bassist from Bloc Party & the guitarists from YourCodeNameIs:Milo in them. Stonking good line up as well:

Todays' delivery - Daisy E & The Unsteadies "Corpses and Candies" EP. Nice bit of 2-Tone flavoured ska, was expecting something a bit more psychobilly tinged than it was (ie, not at all) based on their image. A part of me was hoping something akin to Roddy Radiations Skabill Rebels.

Thankfully they're better than that.
