I don't understand how someone can commit a crime in a country when they aren't there.
That is to say, how can US jurisdiction extend into the UK?

Have I commited a US crime by having visited Cuba?
Can I therefore expect to be extradited?

Why didn't the US, UK and Swedish governments simply conspire to get these men sent to Sweden on trumped-up charges? According to clear facts presented on another thread, their feet wouldn't have touched the ground in Stockholm before they would have been put on a CIA plane bound for Guantanamo Bay. If you were arrested in England, you are seriously saying that no charges would be brought, instead you'd possibly be extradited to Iceland for launching a missile without air traffic clearance, or something? Really?

It took you a month to come up with that? Hmm. But still wrong. I think you must have forgotten that AH was indeed prosecuted, convicted and jailed by the courts in the UK. The US wants him for other offences which are their business, including alleged offences re the setting up of a terrorist training camp in Oregon which, according to Google Maps, is currently not in the UK. A fact it has in common with Mr. Hamza.
