| I'm a big jeans wearer, although it has to be said it's corduroy's for the coldest days.
A pair of Levi 505's matched with Red Wing Beckman 9011's, a cowboy shirt and to top it off an Aero 1930's Halfbelt in four quarter horsehide or goat, depending on how I'm feeling. That's pretty much my standard wear for 6 months a year.
Although I'll soon be breaking out my collection of chino's for the summer, along with my A1 and A2 jacket's.
As for cheap jeans the best I've found are ASDA's stretch range. The sizes are all over the place so a measuring tape is essential. But for yard work, washing the car and other rather grubby activities there perfect.

So, of course, they immediately started to drift South again.
The pattern on the boxer shorts he was so keen to expose looked like the sort of patterm you find on a romper suit or a babygro, little red teddy bears.
Cool?'"

| Can't understand the concept of wearing jeans for gardening and whatnot. Sweat pants (or shorts, in the summer) is where it's at for manual labour.

I thought as much at first, but the whole concept of TOMS had me buying a pair.
And honestly, I don't regret it. The single comfiest shoe I have ever bought.

Five minutes from Yeadon car boot, you have no excuse not to be wearing top-end designer or even Levi's at less than £5 a pop

Yep, except mine didn't leave the manufacturers especially designed to have an a[irs[/ie hanging down around the knees, they just turned out like that after washing 100 times or so...

| The biggest mistake anyone makes with jeans is laundering them too often. Denim is not meant to be stuffed in a washer and subject to all the vagaries of biological washing powder. The best thing for denim jeans is to "air-wash" them. Simply put them on the washing line and leave them for a week.

| I wore jeans all through my childhood. When I was about 25 I decided I was having nothing more to do with it and wore various kinds of combats, cords, and anything but jeans. There was even a regrettable period where I'd prefer [url=http://i.imgur.com/YPQFz.jpgthese[/url, which have now been re-purposed for their proper usage.
And then a few years ago I switched back, and I bet I haven't worn anything else since.

I love them.
It can be a pain in the backside getting a pair of smart jeans that have are 'short' leg length, or 30'. If I have to get 32' then I have to have 'turn ups' at the bottom which don't always look particularly good, either that or ruin the bottom of them by having them drag along the floor.
The ones with the cuffs on the ankles are lovely and comfortable to wear on a daily basis and then bottoms of them don't have to be turned up either to avoid being ruined.
Cannot stand those horrible brown or green chino things people insist on wearing. Worse thing is, the sheepful youth of today (I'm only 23, having said that ) will see their mate buy a pair, and then the next day they're all wearing them.

I suppose the only drawback, then, is how utterly stupid they look.

You're so lucky, you have no idea how much of a pain in the it is to find a pair of women's fit jeans in a 34 or 36 inside leg length. I spend most of my life wearing jeans and boots or turned up jeans and flat shoes just because they're not long enough!
