The only interesting one is Ollie Pratt being given the no.2 shirt. I know it's only a number but personally I don't see Ollie Pratt as winger.

I am a bit concerned about the lack of quality outside the 18, especially when the likes of Hull and Castleford have strengthened.
I’m not overly concerned. With backs like Rourke, Myers, Tate, Walmsley waiting in the wings for backs and Lolesio waiting for his shot and young lads like Lingard another year older etc I think that we are fine. I do think I’d like to see another edge forward and prop come in though. I’d be over the moon if the Tanginoa and Leeds young prop rumour was true as that would really finish off the squad. I just think if that 26 is a quality edge forward or prop it should really set us up nicely. Worth noting that our starting 18 has also improved with an NRL winner and the Pacific cup finalist in the 13 too. Players like Pratt/Hall etc who are still young and Faatili/Rodwell etc will all be better after their first SL season too I think. Really looking forward to this season. We could go really well and if we manage to step it up a notch again we could slip into the 4. |

To man question to be top 4 ,like how fit is Trueman ,Scott till got the 4 shirt , Way teams round us have strengthened ,Prat 2 shirt , we tried that last season and it did not work , Think if we make top 8 it will be a good season
Why do you think Trueman is not fit, can yoo see something we can't. On the plus side at least you are now thinking and not just guessing.

That’s incredibly pessimistic for a team finishing in playoffs who have strengthened in all areas and have more experience in SL this time round. On balance a lot of things point to being in the same position or potentially higher up. Being cautious occasionally is fine but that’s also a way to stifle growth. Finishing 7-8 after a good season will be a backwards step and not good at all. |
