Went to Hunslet today and York were absolutely woeful. Clueless in fact. Not saying we should be complacent but we shouldn't have many problems next week on today's showing.
In fact, this fella puts it better than I do, from the York forum on TotalRL:
After that pathetic excuse of a performance today, where do we go.Sheffield at home next week will be a cricket score if we play anything like that. From minute 1 to minute 80,no DESIRE,PRIDE,PASSION,SKILL,ORGANISATION,the list goes on.We looked like a bunch of blokes who had been cobbled together about 5 minutes before kick off.A total shambles.Missed tackles galore, passes either round a players head (and thats just from acting half) or along the floor,or on one occasion straight to a Hunslet player who was still in his own defensive line.Yep that is about as bad an 80 minute display i have seen in a very long time.
I agree with both previous posts. Went to Hunslet myself and thought York were pretty bad, although I don't like to critisize teams usually. But you can never take teams lightly, especially away from home.
