Social media is just another method of getting info across but it's a very fast and efficient way of distributing info and getting feedback.
I'm guessing that there are still lots of people (dinosaurs
) who don't have Twitter, Facebook or even Email etc so it's important to catch these. I guess that's down to the club to put information into the match programme and encourage people to buy one.
The club needs to do more by gathering info on supporters and using it wisely for it to be of any use subjct to their agreement of course.
