Was impressed with the speed at which the eagles played but thought our youngsters handled it well too. You looked the more organised team until Moore came on for us and started to take the lead. Some useful players on both sides and with prob around five first team regulars to return for you I'd be amazed if you didn't challenge for a top four spot. Eagles fans made plenty of noise and were a credit to the club. Good luck for the season

Good game and did a job for both sides. The players needed the match time and the result was in the balance for a while but thats not what it was about. Thanks to the Wakey fans for their friendliness as well.

Just want to mention, id never been to Belle Vue before but heard stories about how bad the ground was. I just want to say that they were not true. It was much worse than i was expecting, im sorry but its derelict, tiny, unsafe and with the paint on the floor its just a matter of time before someone falls and breaks a leg. Maybe they should phone Rapid Solicitors?
