We are the standard bearers for Rugby League in Wales , despite the C**P we have taken since the licence application results and the visa issues earlier on this season we are still here and have lasted longer than any other professional RL club established in Wales. We have a growing and passionate support base for RL in Wales and its about to get much bigger wth the move to Newport. Yes the club has been poorly managed in the past but are any of the other clubs in this league or indeed the championship squeeky clean. I THINK NOT !!

We have achieved more in 3 years than some clubs in the heartlands have achieved in a century. No one ever said it was going to be easy. Its not an even playing field ,we are playing catch up on a massive scale.
I shall make my judgement when I hear the findings of the UKBA report.

Yeah and with us, on the day slaes are usually equal to pre-sold & season ticket sales.

Admittedly Newport might be different, but I expect about 7,000 total.

Whatever frustrations we have as a team, THEY are practically foaming at the mouth, desperate for us to close so they can turn rugby league back into a local curiousity like cheese rolling or bog-snorkelling.

Out of interest, more people enter the world bog snorkelling world championships than the rugby league world cup. We'd LIKE to help that change, but if the magical land of M62 doesn't want us .....

Wheels - your autocractic approach will NOT deter me from my views - banned or not!

I don't consider that I have broken any forum rules until now - that of public criticism of the moderating process!

But to restrict the forums views purely to "pro-crusaders" on all but one thread, and how wonderfull all things is in the wonderful world of welsh RL on all others, is IMO, a restriction of 'free' airing of appropriate views and contrary to any constitutional right of anyone in this country and is unrepresentitive of peoples valid views!!
