Looks like it's gonna be a great place to watch from, I'm coming over for the Leeds game in july, Any recommendations for best place to watch games from at Catalan would be appreciated

the advantage of the new stand is that it will be in complete shade throughout so in july with the high temperatures it should be a great spot to be.Me & the missus will make a bee line for it I think.In any case I think it will become the official 'away end' for the visiting supporters as it was before but with shelter from the elements.
If you want to be more side on the stand near the goal line on the Guasch Stand side near the new stand should provide good cover or the Guasch stand itself towards the back.Bewarned this is full of local supporters who can get very 'exitable',especially when they feel the ref is against them....

great photos and the stand looking great just a few question how come the stand dosent go all the way round espcially on the left side looking at it?, whats the capacity of the stand and what will that take the full ground capacity to? and are they another plans to improve the ground. well done dragons anyway

that's the first phase nearing completion - the next bit will be the open stands to the right (north) plus the Guasch Stand I believe.This new stand should ensure a 12000 capacity to conform to RFL guidelines etc.
The ultimate goal is to reach a total capacity of 15001 speccies which is ONE more than the Aimée Giral (15000) which is the deadly enemy in the eyes of the little fat general Mr Guasch,president of the Catalans.

I was joking when I told Christophe Levy that that'd be a great idea.

this weekends plan is to get to the Lezignan v Pia play-off game then shoot off down to Perpignan to see the last 30 minutes of Cats v Hudds,followed by the usual candlelit meal in an intimate italian bistro then getting plastered at Le Café de la Bourse !



isn't it ridiculous that the play-of and the Cats game clash - an earlier KO at FCL would probably increased the Cats crowd by at least 1000 speccies !
also,the Grand Final at Narbonne clashes with the TO13 v Hunslet game - totally stupid and completely in line with french rl logic.....ie : nay fookin' idea !

just seen stade gilbert brutus on world stadiums and the stand on the left has the standing bits on the side of the stand all joint together with seata and a roof just wondering if thats the plan and whens it due to be started if so.
also the stand where the swimming pool bit is whats the plan with that is it just going to be an swimming pool with the shop ect or can it turn out be an actual stand with supporters there ect?

great stand and phase one of the stand rebuilding programme - should give good shade in the hot months for the away fans (or whoever !) as well as for the present north stand (Tribune Guasch)
