Why would the Dragons want a man of such questionable character and inconsistent playing performance, when the club already has an abundance of half talent in Dureau, Bosc and Farrar?

Bradford has always been his preferred destination for domestic reasons but I hope he stays at Saints

Bradford need him more than Saints. He would be reunited with Potter.

But please don't let him come to Perpignan. He is not needed and would lower the team morale (especially among the French players) and he would have negative effect on team performance.

Might just be me, but I think he'd be a great signing.

Fine player who still has a lot to give but he does carry some baggage and Catalans have just offloaded baggage from last seasons debacle - Potter isn't exactly covering himself in glory and may not be around next season as it's going,though I would still bet on Bradford taking him.
as a Saints fan I think he can give us another season,if he ever gets fit that is ?

yes,correct about the coach and certain other players but I can't think of many others who should have gone ? I think TR has recruited well and has a decent enough squad without having to resort to risking the likes of Leon etc.

Kane aside, I can't think of anyone who I would have kept on. Also, with hindsight Henderson has been a great signing and young Eloi has been going well by all accounts so Kane,again might not have got the game time he deserved.

Hendo has been brilliant with great support from Eloi so Kane would have struggled to find a place.He's clearly too good for the likes of the LER and will move on soon.

Both Kane and Andrew should not have gone; Andrew was supposed to be the next big thing but was left to stagnate since that season with the 17 in Hull and Kane was the only one to show passion last year.
I don't see why we didn't cash in on Sa when we had the chance, how many Centre/SO/BR players do we need, especially with his wage? For that matter why did we need to sign another Winger and another Centre, both from the UK, when we have enough to cover those positions at lease 2 deep in the squad before tapping the academy.

Though I guess the biggest question is how will TR not only bring on Eloi, but also the now disguarded academy players - Gigot, Bartheau, Guash, etc.

Sa hasn't been too bad this year TBH tho' I can't see the point of Millard but Blanch has been useful with Stacul dropping to FB with Clint out - it's given TR more options IMO especially the flexibility it has given him with Farrar.

regarding Gigot etc Gigot & Barthau are not SL quality as I see it on previous performanecs but maybe Guasch is - he needs a few games at that level to prove himself.

He never had those problems under Potter. He's got more years in him than Menzies and is one of the top two French BR players (if not one of the top 2 BR players in the SL), long term it was a bad move.

As to Gigot etc - it took JPB a year of being the unincluded 19th man before he made the squad, why do we expect these kids to make the step up from zero to full time like that? Their step up was poorly managed. (I am as guilty about being impatient in bringing on the kids as anyone else, btw).

regarding Gigot,he had a good run in the first team but didn't combine well with his team mates - I think he has a chance but needs to do a lot of work before he can be considered good enough for the first team.I honestly think he is a good Championship player but lacking that extra quality for SL level.I would like to see more of David Guasch.I recall him playing in the Castleford friendly and he looked really good but Walters only gave him one game.

no,he was ok under Potter with a good team spirit but many things happened under Walters,some due to him and some which were beyond his control ie getting certain players who created a drinking and loutish culture making it difficult to maintain discipline.Elima will come home one day because he isn't really happy at Bradford but a job's a job.

You could say that about many french internationals of late who 'only' play/played in the LER but have turned out for France.Young William is a cracking lad like most of them,very polite and I really hope he makes it and a decent player but he was given a decent run due to injuries plus the loss of Mogg and Bird etc in the first team and couldn't give that extra bit of class required at that level - maybe he was too young ?

We have to give the academy kids time. It's not just inbuilt ability, it's hard graft when you make the level. I think it's unfair to write them off so early in their career (especially with Walter's record at developing players).

According to Bradford Bulls' reporter in our local paper, Leon won't be coming home and is virtually nailed on to go to the South of France. I have a lot of respect for Catalans, you have quite the team going, oh and thank you for Elima!

And for Elima, i'm happy about his departure. I like the player but i don't like the man : always booing the referee on the field and he thinks he is the cutest.

Pryce's style of play would work extremely well with Dureau.
