It makes me chuckle that someone from a club that blatently cheated is now bleating about being robbed - not once, but twice - by referees. You obviously thought that you would drop down and walk it in Division 2 because of your total lack of respect for the opposition and the officials.

Maybe you should reapply for the NCL and see if they will have you back seeing as we are not worthy to grace your pitches (or rather Halton Farnworth's pitches).

Good hard fought game. Woolston had that extra bit about them to win against a decent Askam side who kept coming at Woolston for the whole 80. Woolston only converted on of their scores which makes the score a look a little closer.

Good result that milly. I have to be honest I expected st maries to beat HFH by more so credit to HFH, can't believe adlington and ince conceded, and st pats and st judes looked to be a cracker. We on the other hand didn't play as orrell supposedly had no pitch but we are in talks with NWC over just getting the points because they have had a pitch all season.

Hello, im new to this forum- my name is kev buck, whatever i post will be an official post from Widnes St Maries. Im part of the coaching staff and on the clubs commitee......Halton Rugby League is nothing to do with St Maries.... i've been informed by a reliable source he's from another Widnes team trying to give the Maries a bad name!!!! ......ok i relise we already have a bad name!!! but we are sorting this out. We are a community based club with a great youth set up....sometimes our open age team/fans ( mainly fans ) give us a bad name!! There is alot of passionate people at the club who in the last few years have taken this passion a bit too far!!
We've had varoius meetings regarding our discipline on and off the field, and we are heading in the right direction.

THE TRUTH... thats what you'll always get from me..... vs Woolston the ref didn't beat us Woolston did!!!! ok quite a few of our players where sin binned... but deservingly so. NO COMPLAINTS!!!

vs West Bank we dominated possesion and for most of the game looked the better side.....BUT West Bank took their chances better and played for 80 mins.. NO COMPLAINTS WELL DONE WEST BANK.

We are now flying the Flag for Div 2 nwc in the National Cup... i would hope many of you would want us to do well??? We play Fryston on Saturday... who apparently have a rep that makes us look like pussy cats!!!!
