It was my opinion that WSM would be too strong for you yesterday but fair play to you lads on a good win, just out of interest, which pitch did you play on at Wilmere Lane?

I never went to Dalton but apparently we were very unlucky not to win, playing some of the best rugby we've played all season, even their players and staff said they were fortunate to win with Mr Caswell making some unusual decisions in the middle, hey ho, onwards and upwards to St Pats next week.

Bit of a strange one St Pats, when we played them at their place we were woeful, hopefully we can get it together next week as I didn't expect them to loose to Latchford.

Good to see OSJ putting a team out, shame they got beat by 50 as it might put a few lads off again.

dalton were like that last year, we beat them well at our gaff then got rolled up there....that place does seem to have a weird effect on teams, cant think why?

. The lads played well and we had a few missing!!!!

The Maries though are a very good, big aggressive side but our lads stood their ground and we scored 3 great tries in horrible conditions (and bombed 1 or 2 as well!)

We have to back it up this week though against Latchford and that isnt going to be easy.

We ain't playing well at the moment plus the judes have 1st have a tough away game so I can see a few of them staying. I can see it being a tough one for our lads but I think we have the quality to just sneak it.

yeh we won 60-0 .. yeh orrell had a bare 13 players.. well done the all the orrell lads that played yesterday. can anybody tell how the orrell player that got injuried yesterday? during the brawl that seen 2 askam players sent off .. i would like to apolgise on behalf of the askam club. we not a fighting club we dont condone what happened yesterday and the lad that did that to the orrell players need to take a long hard look at himself because it just isnt rugby league the way i love this game..

i would also like to take this point to say how poor the referee was yesterday. that if he control the game the way he should control it would of esculted to what happened both team were niggling at eachother and the referee didnt control at all through out

Have the Askam players been arrested? Referee stopped at Hindpool after your game and said the police had been called. Will the Askam club be taking action against the players involved?

the police did come down to the club yesterday after the game and asked the player questions about the incident and said they were going up the hospital to ask the orrell lad if he was wanting to press charges. i havent heard anything since then. weather the club take action against him and couldnt tell you. judging by the reaction to the incident the club as a whole is deeply saddened that one of there players would do anything like that

the club would also like to point put the one of the 2 players that were sent off DIDN'T hit the orrell player in question. and that the police only wanted to talk to one of the players

They should have come to Hindpool later and arrested the referee for taking his match fee under false pretences
