Crazy innit. Far too early to call it in mid-Feb, it doesn't start thawing until gone 11, and an hour or two of sun and it's fine. Every forecast I saw said sun and temps up to 4°C, easily enough to thaw any frost and play on. Maddening.
We (Bury) met up and played a game between ourselves, ground was fine, no frost, nothing.
