I myself have a tapestry of the Last Supper so I will go and check out the one in Hedon, so thanks for that. The whole point of my collection is to compare how the depicted image changes over the centuries as Christianity err, evolves, shall we say

. So it is interesting to see how a modern artist who has been indoctrinated with modern teachings of the Bible portrays the disciples compared, say, to one who lived say 500 or even 1000 years ago.

Still! At least I am on track to win the dumpling bet. Lots of goodies may still come my way

It's ridiculous, 9 days over now. It's like going downstairs at 6am on Christmas day as a child only to find that you have no presents, just a note saying; "Sorry we didn't have any money this Christmas, we'll buy you some presents on the 14th in the sales".

Booked in to be induced on Tuesday, I'm trying to get my excitement back - I've spent two weeks mocking a friends partner who who appears in all their baby photos with a sulk face.

But u know prob by tue night ur going to hold the little bundle in ur arms unless she comes before then

That'll be fun. When I was induced after a bit I got the anaesthetist and Mr B in a sort of double headlock and said lots of things involving violent requests for medication. Get gas and air at 5cm and don't bother stopping between contractions as there's a time delay. It's for her, not you by the way. Unless she's going for the aromatherapy and whale music approach. In which case, good luck.

My wife was induced for the birth of our daughter, it felt a little bizarre arriving at Hull Womens and Childrens hospital with an appointment to have a baby.

We were booked into Jubilee but wife's waters broke, but no baby, so appointment was booked at Hospital for us. Anyway, we arrived at the hospital (as per appointment), they plugged her in to the "device" at 10am and at 3pm she arrived.

Even got a free can of Redbull in the birth pack!

This post is a little daunting and I'll gloss over it and think of you whilst having every bone in my hand broken.



We were supposed to be going to the Jubilee, It closed a week last Friday. I'm not sure that all matters now because once you are at a stage where you need to be induced, you're kinda void from there anyway.

I know what you mean about feeling a bit bizarre, Another of our friends have a family history of struggling with natural birth and had c-section at 36 weeks, they practically picked their babies birthday within a 3 day window based on availability.



My partners family have all had less then 3hour labours, I'm hoping we don't buck the trend. With that in mind, everyone in her family that have gone over their due date have given birth to boys and Ginge say's we're having a girl...Not looking good.

My wife had an emergency c-section for our first when the powers that be finally found out it wasnt a head but an with legs up round her head!
Second one was planned c-section due to trauma of first but our second daughter decided to come early! Stlll had section with all female crew with music in the background and a short break for the lottery draw!

Ps if its your first I dare you not to be a blubbing wreck, I was.

2 girls both early one 6lb 12oz, second one 6lb 11oz! eldest now 14 and 5 foot 7! her auntie is 6 foot.

Still nothing, although I was awoken at 2am, 5am and 6.20am with some promising signs that have faded as the days gone on, tried a walk to bring them back on. I'm resided to it being Tuesday, although the midwife that phoned us today informed us that it does sometimes take a few days. I'm hoping the sometimes is 'rarely'.

Post it again, I cant find it. To be honest though, it wasn't really a recipe as such. More detail Wormy!

Well i promised Mrs GML a rugby free weekend away.
No talking about Rugby and i almost pulled it off until we went down to the Hotel resturant for breakfast on Sunday morning and who was sat there but Craig Hall.

Any baby news yet ?

He's been quiet today so fingers crossed.

I think Mrs. dum-dum is an elephant. Do they have a twenty four month gestation period?

Well I bet the poor woman feels like an elephant by now (Ohh making me cross my legs remembering when the baby bears down at this stage!)

Hopefully we will hear about little Jake or Eve's arrival very soon.

Got a nice week planned though....Theatre Wednesday to see the Little Voice play, Rugby Friday (well not sure about the rugby but nice to have a couple of drinks with friends)...Then the most exciting of all the ape film on Saturday



Plus that is it with me and Voddy, I am not getting drunk on the stuff again, 2 flippin days I have felt pants now!

Oh come on, if we did that it would be a short sharp shout of 'get the feck away from me!'.
