We only own retired horses now and the training was always done by a team. When I say 'one of his horses' I was referring to one that he has bred. It didn't end up racing because of the going - We like to look after our horses and they'd never race in today's conditions.

Because of the weather, the soft ground started to become heavy in patches. We don't like to race in it and neither did the owners of the other several horses that pulled out.
