With that kind of success its really surprising that nobody ever mentions Hull FC in the same breath as Wigan , Saints , Leeds , Wire and Bradford.

I know, the trophy success has been minimal but it's better than nothing.

To be honest it was the same in the early 80s. More competitions to go for but we only won one Challenge Cup and one Championship.

Warrington went about fifty years without a league or Challenge Cup win, I think.

I intend to laugh my socks off when the dobbins get beaten in a final, but I don't if I'll live that long. After all they have to get to one first.

Definitely a very tough learning experience for him, ginge, but he'll bounce back, of that I'm sure.

In retrospect he probably shouldn't have played but it's easy to be wise after the event. The only other alternative we had was Whiting in the centre and Horne on the bench but that would have been a risk too as Horne hasn't played for months.

It's not the other way round though Ginge. I would love to watch Rovers get beat in a final but they don't get to any. Ah well I'll just have to concentrate on supporting my team and leave the bitterness to continue to eat you lot away!
