I can confirm that it is actually true and has happened in some cases.
As funny as it is to take the p1ss out of Rovers as you would do to us, when this blows over everyone will get to the fact that it is not actually HKR's fault and it is Kooga's so any p1ss taking is really just tongue in cheek IMO.

However, Rovers desperation to get the shirts out and sold before christmas has been the downfall as you would've thought after last seasons problems to quality check them before selling

And you can confirm it is true because....the voices in your head / Wilf wrote it in his fairy tales ( ala Crocker is coming ) / rumour in the pub / etc.


Does the quality check include a wash and find the colour fading quicker than O'Meeley's knee.

Thats what my gut reaction was, however i hear that the unofficial rovers forum or whatever it is called has several images of the shirt with upside down sponsor, and the pics are from a rovers fan.

The shirt was actually bought by a Rovers fan, photos taken by a Rovers fan and put on the Rovers Unofficial Forum by a Rovers fan!!

FWIW I wasn't exactly trolling i was just pointing out that it is actually true as this is what i know the case to be, but you will also see i said it isn't really Rovers' fault. The only blame can be put on HKR is the fact that they sold them with a major fault. And to be honest, i don't think you can put 'colours mixing in the wash' on the same level as 'the sponsor is upside down

It was [size=1501[/size so therefore 'them' is the wrong word. 'Them' is the word associated with the shirts returned by FC fans because of fading, and 'them' would be the word associated with people who returned their season passes as they had not been consulted about the switch from Sunday games to Friday nights.

1 that has put a picture online, i've heard there was more than 1 so therefor........'them'... Clever how you managed to twist it onto FC tho, like it!! We have a few shirts which have apparently faded (which could be due to washing conditions), last season Rovers sold shirts that were ALREADY Pink and Red, then changed peoples shirts over and the incompetent staff gave everyone 2 shirts each in return





Oh, and talking of tickets how many Rovers fans do you think haven't bought passes this year because of ClubRovers??? I happen to know for a fact that this is one of those 'THEM' answers!!!

Another FACT you forgot to mention is that to date 700 passes sold are to new passholders for the 2010 season.

I usualy buy a new shirt but I just dont like the new one or the away one, I would have bought one & as I get a discount it is even more anoying but it is down to personal taste. To me Rovers play in white with a red band or V there are variations on that so why not stick to it? I did like the one a few years ago with the diamonds. A totaly red shirt would have been better but then that is just my personal taste.

I support my team, I am in the lottery I am a club Rovers member, when I attend reserve games I pay & dont use my pass, but I am not going to buy a shirt I wont wear.

With Rovers being the only proffesional outfit in the region to join teamcard along with the other famous clubs like Man Utd, Man city, Leeds Utd etc along with the major R.U. teams and LTA etc etc it won't be long before our own chain stores and shops fall into line.

Thanks for your concern and i'm sure when the pacesetters of HKR and their fans are reaping the benefits, the other backward club will try clinging to their shirt tails

I see you fail to mention Chelsea FC and Bolton Wanderers. It's a a fantastic scheme, reckon a fair few more clubs will join in the next couple of years.
