| Just a quick question.
Why does Morgan persist in playing Cooke when it's obvious the other players don't want him to be on the pitch .... even more baffling is the fact that other players ego's are effecting the clubs chances of success because Rovers look far more threatening on the rare occassion they pass Cooke the ball.

I think that's an understatement, we were very poor, and we were so good earlier in the season too! Get that sorted and we can kick on again! At the moment it is a great concern. Wigan were just walking over early in the second half!

Or is poor ikkle Zoddy poos in a mood. Face facts if the players didn't ignore Cooke and go to Dobson and Galea all the time you'd have beaten Huddersfield and more than likely have won today.

Completely correct. Cooke got the ball quite a lot more than he has done at other times this season, and it showed with some great early tries, fantastic passing (most of the time) and us looking dangerous for the first and last 15 minutes.

There's no doubting that Wigan had discipline problems, particularly with laying on. However, Rovers were also guilty of many of the same offences and yet they went virtually unpunished.
Halibut is a gash referee - the worst in SL by some distance. It's just a matter of luck whether his errors favour you or destroy you. Yesterday you got lucky. In spades.

| I think the scoreline favors KR more in the 2nd half. The conversion rate from Richards was abismal!
Was a cracking game to watch though, hats off to both teams.

| I thought McIlorum changed the game. He was immense for them and just shows what a quality hooker can do.
Hopefully this dip in form wont continue for much longer and we get rid of our poor performances and pick up some form for the play offs!!

Does every single one of your posts have to refer to FC in some way? It was a sky game that fans of other teams watched and therefore would like to comment on. You really need to remove that rather large chip and just accept people have different opinions. As for the FC "dreaming about your position" we have actually finished 2nd in SL and got to a grand final. You have done nothing yet.

Im not as confident as you pal of a top 4 finish, I was hoping for a finishing position of 6th and I would still be happy with that.

If we can arrest this dip in form before it turns into a slump, top 4 is possible but it will be tough. Next couple of weeks will see us go into the run-in either chasing the top two or looking nervously over our shoulders.
We've not got too many injury worries, considering how far we are into the season, so we look good on paper. Hopefully they can do themselves justice against Catalans. One more win for another year of progress, 3 more [ishould[/i be enough for the play-offs, 4 would be top 6, I reckon, and 5/6 top 4. Looking at the fixtures though, the last would be a very decent effort. Rovers' trips to west Yorkshire haven't yielded much in SL (1 win against Hudds in 2007 and the draw against Bradford this year is all, iirc), so that is almost as bad as our June hoodoo.

Realistically the way Saints and Leeds generally finish the season off I now have no doubts in my mind we are out of the running for second.
Our injuries have eased recently and we do look pretty good on paper but the enthusiasm isnt there from the first half of the season, most noticeably in our defence and kick chase.

And, of late, our being on telly hoodoo!
I did expect that, especially with the goings on at the JJB recently, a win at home against Wigan would be a formality (which says something about our progress!) and a kick start to our run in, but it was not to be.
Our form in the last 6 weeks has been very poor, even the win at Celtic was hardly emphatic. Something has gone wrong, what and why I don't know but it needs sorting if the season isn't to end in a damp squib. We are a shadow of the team we were early in the season.
A finish outside of the top 4, would be a disappointment after the promise we have shown over the first two thirds of the season.
