Can't be bothered to cook tonight, not got anything good in and I'm going away for the weekend (<fx Sound of Roverswall cheering in the back ground fx>icon_wink.gif so I think I'll get a bit of wine in, sit in the garden and read my book until Ms. pmh gets in from having a proper job.

But what take away should I get? There's a good pizza place, great Chinese that also does Thai (although I haven't tried that and I'm quite the Thai food aficionado don't you know) and a few decent Bangladeshi places. There's also a good chippy but I'm not a big fan of fried fish.

What about a good Indian with a good bottle of wine

Well that's winning so far, (you're the only one to vote so far) although I am going out for a ruby on Saturday night after going to a beer festival so Ms. pmh might not be too keen tonight as well.

Well, I'm making a smoked haddock and seafood risotto tonight. I'm just going out for a good bottle of Chablis to go with it. I understand you may have a decent recipe that you haven't made yet?

No, I'm doing the cooking, not you. That's quite right. AND I've been in the garden pruning fig trees. We're burning fig wood tonight on the fire. I will, however, be drinking wine, but will have to fetch my own. My car is due it's MOT in a couple of weeks, but nonetheless will be the vehicle used to transport the wine to the house.

It's not a brilliant burner, it's true. Even when seasoned. More of a smoulderer (is that a word, book expert?). But it's good to alternate with coal to keep the fire ticking over. Almost like "turning down the gas" when the fire gets too hot.

When I order pizza it has to come from Hayworth Pizzas (actually that is a damn good idea may get myself a meat feast myself.)

Ours are all a bit average around here, there's a little Italian pizza pasta place in the next village that is brilliant, but they don't deliver, so that's out.

Just seen one I haven't tried before on JustEat that gets good reviews, might give that a whirl. I'll have to check their hygiene rating first though.

Pizzas great, I could have it about five times a week, but I'd be even fatter than I am now.

Fresh chicken in a shake bag with veg pretty boring but very tasty and very healthy gonna get sum amigos liquid for zee weekend

Chicken breast seasoned with paprika, corianda, ground mustard, garlic and cumin. Served alongside vegetable rice with a few buttered slices of a bloomer.

The Mrs. did a lovely casserole in the slow cooker for last nights tea, I could smell it cooking before I left for work. By the time I got home I was like a drooling dog.
