your getting me worng,.. its not the injuries i wanna see, but the big hits....unfortunatly injuries tend to come with big hits...or on the other hand they dont as in chev walkers case.....any news on chevs recovery time?? ther hasnt been much said since it happend...

In the League Express it said Chev was ahead of schedule, and the online Q & A thing, I think hudgell said he's been walking around with the cage on.

The one positive that could come out of all of this is that now his leg has suffered a "clean break" then it can heal properly (as stress fractures never really heal). If that happens we could have a potential world-class player on our hands.

With Murrell going to hooker next year I think a fit Chev could be quite a devasting, off-loading loose-man.

Personally I would play Chev off the bench in the back row, he could do a good job coming on when defences are tiring.

put James Grahams up as a comparison.

Averages 8.38m per hit up, that's amongst the best in Super League. He also seems to have a good work rate.

I think he'd be a good signing for us, and there should be plenty of beans left in him considering he's only 27 too.

Could be a huge player for us if we manage to pull it off, maybe the difference between finishing top 4 or missing out on the play-offs.

As i said earlier in the thread, he'll be your best prop if the signing comes off and he would be one of the better props in SL too.

I'd take the stats above with a pinch of salt in regards to comparing SL for NRL. Different game and different statisticians etc.

Clinton is a good prop I was impressed by his Panthers team back 2004ish. Not seen him much for the Broncos due to lack of coverage etc but is a good age for a prop at 27.

Not sure on the salary but is a quality signing.
